General Description

Presson White Tract 343 acres located North of Wakefield, VA.

This managed timber tract fronts State Rt 615 (New Design Rd) with a good interior road system.  The tract lays well, gentle rolling to flat topography backing up to Johnnchecohunk Swamp.  There is approximately 300 acres of upland and 43 acres of bottom land. The timber is primarily 1983 and 1990 Loblolly Pine (approximately 300 acres) and the soils are excellent with an average site index of 86.  Recreational opportunities are deer and turkey hunting with wood duck hunting in the swamp.
