General Description

The BTG Monticello Price Tract is 567 acres located 7.25 miles east of Amherst, VA in Nelson County and 23 miles south east from Lynchburg, VA with access by a deeded ROW from Tye River Road (Rt. 657) as well as access by a deeded ROW from State Route 824 (Banton Lane).  This property lays rolling with a small creek flowing through the property.  The timber consists of 221 acres of 2000 planted Loblolly pine, 88 acres of 2003 planted Loblolly pine and 179 acres of 2001 planted Loblolly pine and approximately 77 acres of mature hardwoods. The Price Tract is an excellent timber investment.  This property has great habitat for wildlife and good interior roads for access and timber management.
