Mike Keim is licensed (38 years) in South Carolina. He joined Advance Land and Timber in May 2003. He is a Registered Forester in South Carolina and is semi-retired as the owner of Keim’s Forestry Services, working primarily in the Piedmont Region of South Carolina. With 50 years experience in forestry, he has a good understanding of timber, timberland, forest management, recreational and aesthetic values. Mike has been involved in philanthropy with The Children’s Miracle Network — Log-A-Load for Kids program. He was the state chairman for 3 different 5+ year terms for South Carolina where he led fundraising events and projects. One of his greatest honors was being awarded the 2015 National Volunteer of the Year for The Log-A-Log for Kids program. Mike and his wife Kathy have been happily married for 49 years and they have two daughters, Kristin and Candice Keim. Mike has a lifetime passion for the outdoors, especially for hunting and playing with his grand-dogs Bella and Billy.
