Mark McMillan, President and CEO of Advance Land and Timber, LLC, has experience in the timberland industry since 1987. Mark has spent his entire life handling land, from growing up on a 3rd-generation family farm in the low country of SC to starting and developing one of the industry’s leading land real estate companies in Advance Land and Timber.   Upon graduating from the University of South Carolina with a BS in Finance, he went to work in the insurance industry. His work with forest product insurance programs throughout the southeast included hunting club liability and vacant land liability. He specializes in timberland, recreational tracts for the outdoor enthusiast, as well as institutional grade agricultural farms.  Over the past 25 years, Advance has successfully closed over $1.6 Billion in real estate transactions, totaling just under 900,000 acres spanning though out the southeast.  His hobbies include hunting and fishing.  He is an avid duck hunter.
