General Description

Tract 7819, Old Marietta, is located 10.4 miles east of Baldwyn, MS and 10.2 miles southeast of Booneville, MS bordered by  CR-5051 on the east and CR-5251 on the northwest.  Of the 111.8 acres, approximately 103 acres were planted during the 2005 planting season with loblolly pine.   There are two ponds located on the property.  One pond is approximately 0.59 acres and the other is approximately .11 acres. There is also a hardwood drain running northeast to southwest providing a wildlife corridor for deer and turkey as well as edge effect providing cover and protection for wildlife while feeding in open areas.    This tract is well suited for recreation, wildlife and timber production
